Introducing a variation to a favorite here at Humblebee! The Buff Brahma! These beauties are wonderful additions to any flock looking for some character and something with SIZE. These birds are considered Dual Purpose as they can weigh upwards of 10 pounds when full grown! 
 
They are very gentle and sweet with a wonderfully docile temperment, they make fantastic mothers and don't go broody terribly often. Because of their size they are slower to mature, usually not laying until around 24+ weeks of age. 
 
Brahmas lay a medium to large brown egg and are considered good layers, they usually will continue to lay during the winter which is wonderful for those wanting eggs year round. 

These birds are usually never flighty and relatively unbothered by almost everything, they love to forage or are happy contained in a coop. Overall a great bird for a backyard flock!
