Introducing one of our staple breeds here at the farm! Orpingtons! When I began with chickens 13 years ago this was one of my first breeds! They are hardy, friendly large birds that will come up to you willingly! Fun facts below!
-They come in many colors like: Black, Blue, Buff, Lavender, White and Chocolate, we currently have Buff and Lavender!
-Originally a british chicken breed started by William Cook of Orpington in the late 1800s
-Great layer of Large Brown Eggs
-Temperment is calm and docile, great with kids and pets alike!
