What to Expect: The Hedemora chicken is a rare, hardy Swedish landrace breed known for thriving in cold climates, featuring unique "woolly" feathering or smooth plumage, docile personalities, and decent production of small, creamy eggs, making them excellent heritage birds for homesteads seeking resilience and charm. They are small-to-medium sized, good foragers, and can have black skin (fibromelanosis), offering diversity to flocks.

  • We offer a 72 Hour Chick Guarantee, if your chick passes within 72 Hours of pickup or delivery we will replace it with the same or as similar as possible breed.
